Amanda Beerman, DNP
President, Injection Specialist
Amanda Beerman is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, with clinical experience specializing in the conditions and treatment of wound care, plastic surgery, and medical aesthetics. She has worked for the UP Health System in Marquette, MI, for more than 20 years, and owned and operated Superior Aesthetics in Marquette for over 13 years. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree at Northern Michigan University in Nursing, and a Doctorate of Nursing from Oakland University. Amanda delivers excellence in service in a number of medical capacities, including treatments of the skin and aging, from both medical and aesthetic aspects. With a proven diverse background, she is able to perform a number of services in different medical environments in a safe and effective manner. As a business owner, Amanda leads a team of 7 providing a number of aesthetic services and procedures, and keeps current on the latest technologies, methods, and techniques. Amanda consistently continues to advance her medical aesthetics education through workshops, conferences, and one-on-one training opportunities with industry leaders. She specializes in injection-based treatments including neurotoxins, dermal fillers, Sculptra, Kybella, PRF, and threading. Born and raised in the local area, Amanda is a community leader who has served on a number of boards and committees and supports the economic development of the local area. She is a dedicated business leader, introducing the most up-to-date and effective treatments to the Upper Peninsula. She assists her patients in meeting their unique goals while maintaining a balanced, healthy aesthetic well-being.
Rachel Guindon, LE
Practice Manager, Certified Laser Technician
Rachel is a licensed Medical Esthetician and Certified Laser Technician with over 10 years experience in the industry. She has gained a wealth of knowledge through ongoing education and training. She is passionate about skin care and is always striving to improve her skills and techniques. She believes that every client deserves the highest quality of care and service. She is knowledgeable in a wide range of skin care and body treatments and is always up-to-date on the latest trends and products. She is a firm believer that the esthetician-client relationship is a very special one. She is always available to answer any questions or address concerns they may have. She believes that everyone deserves to feel beautiful and confident in their own skin.
Michelle Bratonia
Front Office Manager
Michelle is our Front Office Manager with years of customer service and a Bachelors in Education, studying science and health. She is the first one to greet you with a warm welcome and a smile. She loves our clients and is passionate about making sure they receive quality service and attention. She takes the time to listen to help clients discover which services best suit their needs. With her ongoing training, she is knowledgeable and readily available to answer questions clients may have about our products and services we offer. She is always happy to help everyone to achieve their goals.
Laurie Reckker
RN, Injection Artist
Laurie is a board certified Registered Nurse with over 30 years of clinical experience. She left emergency care nursing to work for a board certified plastic surgeon. This avenue in her nursing career sparked a passion for skin care and aesthetics. She trained extensively in skin care clinic treatments, including administering injections. Her 20 plus years of experience in this field has allowed her to be extremely knowledgeable regarding proper techniques and treatments. Laurie’s wide array of training working in both hospitals and in clinics has given her the expertise to provide quality care to each client she works with. She believes that every client is unique, and strives to provide a personalized service for each and every client.
Rhonda Gay
Cosmetologist, Permanent Makeup Artist
Rhonda has been in the beauty industry for over 30 years. She is a Master Stylist and was an Educator for Aveda for over 10 years. She decided to advance her education by taking classes to become a certified permanent makeup artist. She specializes in advanced techniques of camouflage, color correction, ombre brows, microblading, eyeliner and lip blushing. As a perfectionist by nature, she has an eye for design and a passion for enhancing natural beauty. She takes her time with each client properly shaping the eyebrows to frame the face creating a more youthful appearance. Additionally she uses color theory to choose the perfect pigments for eyeliner and/or lip colors to create flawless results.
Shyla Mcpherson, LE
Eyelash Extension Artist/Laser Technician
Shyla is a Licensed Esthetician, Laser Technician and Certified Bella Lash Artist with over 2 years of experience. She loves her career and is passionate about helping people feel beautiful and confident. She shares her knowledge about a wide range of treatments with our clients so that they can make informed decisions about their goals. She consistently updates her skills and education to provide the best service possible.
McKayla LaMere
Cosmetologist, Stylist
McKayla is a Licensed Cosmetologist, specializing in hair and skin care. With over 8 years in the beauty industry, her passion is for hair design and helping others improve their skin health. She continues to further her education and gain knowledge in order to master her skills. As a Master Stylist she offers services from haircutting and coloring, to facial waxing, hydrafacials and other personalized skin treatments. McKayla is loyal and dedicated to providing her clients with the highest level of care and is proud to be a part of helping her clients achieve their goals.
